Don't delete your pictures. Days, months, or years from now you'll go back and see something you never did before. If your delete photos, you'll never have a reference for where you started.

Take one photo a day that you are really proud of. Keep this photo separate as if they are like pages in a notebook.

This path you are on is a lonely one. Do not look to others for approval. Your chapter two is their chapter 10. This can lead to a lot of discouragement and can really flatline your confidence. Just stay narrow minded and keep your eyes on the price.
Look out the window.
Believe me or not, the first step of doing something you love is to "make it a reality in your head".
A great friend of mine would always tell me to look out the window. My advice is that you do the same, and share what you see. I can't tell you how many photo campaigns have stemmed from just a glance outside of my immediate environment.
